Whole School Approach to Positive Behaviour Support
At Sacred Heart we have engaged with the Catholic Education Office, Diocese of Sale to implement a strategy known as, Whole School Approach to Positive Behaviour Support (WSAPBS). This approach utilises evidence-based research to support the facilitation of the:
- Personal and Social Capabilities in the Victorian Curriculum
- Child Safe Standards
- Duty of care
- Occupational Health and Safety
This involves working with both staff and students to develop our school wide expectations known as - RISE. They are designed for all to engage with, to strengthen the Sacred Heart School Community and to ensure all students and families feel welcomed in a positive environment.
RISE involves all members, staff, students, families and community to work together and help achieve our school vision, "empowering all learners to achieve their potential in contributing to a flourishing world."
